About "An Evening With Milne"

 

Billy Moon is a Charlottesville-based indie-folk band, and this summer (2024) they will share their project, "An Evening With Milne." The show features poems from A.A. Milne’s When We Were Very Young put to original music. Billy Moon's gentle acoustic style opens up to more upbeat folk melodies and rhythms, giving an aural compliment to Milne's whimsical imagery.

Music sets are broken up with readings and an intermission for tea and scones. We hope to provide a peaceful, artistic, tea-filled evening for anyone in need of such a space.

Events are open to the public. Ticket revenue goes toward producing the band's first album.
